Welcome to the Website of Hout Bay Volunteer Emergency Medical Services (HBVEMS).
HBVEMS serves the community of Hout Bay, Cape Town and the surrounds. HBVEMS is run by roughly 40 volunteers who provide the crews to work 4 shifts every weekend. Attending to everything from car crashes to heart attacks the service is only possible thanks to the generous donations of our sponsors.
HBVEMS depends on private donations. Main sponsor is Nucleus who has generously supplied us with the ambulance. A full list of our current sponsors will be displayed on our website.
On an ongoing basis we need funds for fuel, equipment and maintenance. Please help us to continue our service to the community!
